16-Year-Old Genius Creates Stoller Wheelchair So Paralyzed Mother Can Go Outside With Her Baby

Today we have a story Sharina Jones, a woman who suffered a gunshot wound when she was only 5 years old. She had a bright future and major plans for the future but things kinda took a different turn when the bullet left her paralyzed for good.

Having something as simple and useful as legs and then suddenly not having them can be very traumatic. I could only imagine the mix of emotions and the realization of the life ahead is simply horrifying.

30 years later, Jones has become pregnant for the first time. However, her biggest worry was whether she would be able to take carry of her baby accordingly.

Then, a high school student met up with Aiden Kain, who told her he wanted to team up with Jones and present to her his wheelchair stroller.

Kain had already worked for six years on the endurance, outlook and practicality. Now, he had a prototype.

“It was great to meet her and talk to her about what she wants and doesn’t want,” Kain explained to The Michigan Catholic. “Talking to her was a big help, figuring out the workability of the device, where to put a diaper bag, whether or not she could unhook the stroller and how she can move around in the chair.” In a separate interview with Today, he added, “It was extremely exciting and rewarding to see Sharina using it.”

Let’s have a look at the stroller itself in the video below:
