The production company of 50 Cent plans to release a documentary concerning the sexual assault allegations levied against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
On Thursday, following the disclosure of a fourth allegation of sexual assault against Combs, 50 Cent declared via X (previously Twitter) that the earnings from his forthcoming documentary centered around Combs will be donated to victims of sexual violence. The eponymous film will be produced by G-Unit Film & Television.
“Victims of sexual assault and rape will receive proceeds from this documentary,” 50 wrote on X alongside a documentary excerpt. The footage featured former Bad Boy Records rapper Mark Curry, who detailed perilous party environments purportedly promoted by Combs and his entourage, recalleding in particular how the Combs would adulterate champagne bottles intended for women to consume at his parties. The women, according to Curry, were unaware they were being sedated and consequently became “extremely slippery.”
A representative for 50 Cent and G-Unit Film and TV confirmed the documentary’s development with the following statement: “G-Unit Film and Television is developing the untitled ‘Diddy’ documentary with Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson serving as executive producer. G-Unit Film & Television will donate the proceeds from this documentary to victims of sexual assault and rape.”
Combs did not provide a representative in response to Variety’s request for comment.
Combs did, nevertheless, respond to the allegations in an Instagram post on December 6: “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Over the past few weeks, I have observed in silence as individuals have endeavored to undermine my reputation, character, and legacy. Contaminated accusations have been levied against me by individuals motivated solely by financial gain. To be completely explicit, I did not commit any of the abhorrent acts that are being claimed. “I shall contend for the truth, my family, and my own good name.”
A number of women have come forward to testify that Combs sexually assaulted them in retaliation for the lawsuit filed last month by Cassie, the R&B star Casandra Ventura, who accused Combs of raping and abusing her for over a decade.
