According to ch-aviation, American Airlines operates 20 Boeing 777-300ERs, the first of which, N717AN, was delivered in December 2012. On January 31, 2013, it started operating, traveling from Dallas, Fort Worth, to São Paulo, which is no longer in contact with the equipment.
After eleven years, the 304-seat 777-300ER is still the largest widebody aircraft in the United States by capacity. Its premium content also determines where it is operated. There are currently 28 seats in premium economy, 28 in Main Cabin Extra, 8 Flagship First lie-flat beds, 52 Flagship Business lie-flat beds, and just 188 in Main Cabin.
13 routes for the winter
OAG reports that American will operate 13 flights between December 10, 2023, and March 30, 2024—the day before this Oneworld member and other northern carriers transition to summer schedules. This may change as it is based on the most recent data as of December 10.
The 777-300ER will visit four of its hubs this season. The airports with the most flights are Miami, JFK in New York, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Los Angeles. (Just one of these four airports is listed in the top 777 in the world for international service.) Observe how certain roads get busier around Christmas. Keep in mind that all dates only relate to the specified route.
