Amy Hart of “Love Island” reveals the adorable meaning behind her baby son’s name

Another young islander has arrived! Amy Hart, a former “Love Island” fan favorite, and her boyfriend Sam Rason welcomed a kid called Stanley Samuel Giles Rason. Although the reality TV personality disclosed she really gave birth on Friday, 3 March and spent 5 days in the hospital, the happy news was announced by the pair on 7 March along with a carousel of lovely images of their infant. The three members of the family are presently at home and doing well.

“Well…. 4 days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were braxton hicks…they weren’t 🤣), 4 very short hours in the delivery suite and 5 long days in hospital later, we are home with our dreamy baby boy 💙 born at 3.31am on 3/3/23 weighing 8lbs with the most beautiful head of hair (Amy would take the 9 months of reflux again) and we are so so in love 😍💙,” she wrote on Instagram, although kept his name a secret until an a day later.

On March 8, Hart shared another gorgeous picture of her baby boy and the significance behind her naming selections. Stanley is named after Hart’s Grandfather Geoff, Samuel is named after Hart’s father and brother, and Giles is the last name of Hart’s Nan and Grandad. Love it!

Hart talked openly about storing her eggs and having children on her own through IVF before falling pregnant, but after meeting her tech entrepreneur fiancé and going public with their relationship in 2021, she became pregnant spontaneously. And now that they are parents, they are starting a new chapter.
