In front of Taylor Swift’s stage, someone just said “I do” at an Eras Tour stop, and they’re laying down every step of the process. Swift confirmed to POPSUGAR that René Hurtado, a 30-year-old California native who manages workplace operations for a software startup, wed Max Bochman, 32, on March 18 during Swift’s Eras Tour’s second night at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. After becoming ordained in the state for the significant event, their maid of honor officiated the ceremony.
“I adore Taylor because, in my opinion, she is the best songwriter ever. Not even from our generation, I don’t think “Days later, Hurtado claims they are still basking in wedded bliss and receiving a lot of online attention.
Hurtado and her new spouse now reside in Tempe, although they initially met more than eight years ago when Hurtado was a minor league baseball player for the Stockton Ports. Long before Swift ever announced her career-spanning tour and made the dates public, Bochman proposed in September 2021. Yet the couple had always intended to get married before their wedding. Hurtado claims she didn’t want to wait for the big celebrations because she was eager to adopt her new husband’s last name.
We decided to get legally married in advance because, logistically speaking, she says, “it made sense.” I started telling Max last summer that I wanted to elope on Taylor’s concert day, whenever that would be.
