28 year-old Dana Vulin is a truly insipring woman, here is her story. A few years ago in Perth, Natalie Dimitrovska saw her estranged husband talking to Dana at a New Year’s Eve party.
She then started harassing Dana by leaving her threatening voice mails. One night, Natalie decided to take action while being under the influence of drugs.
She broke into Dana’s house and poured methylated spirits on her. Natalie then set her on fire, which caused third degree burns on most of Dana’s body.
Natalie had threatened Dana that she will ruin her face.
Dana did not let this incident ruin her life and slowly recovered.
She was left in a life-threatening condition and her face was unrecognizable.
According to Dana, she was proud of her looks before the incident occurred.
She had to wear a face mask for two and a half years.
She later appeared in court to testify against Natalie.
Natalie received a sentence of 17 years in prison for her actions.
However, Dana had encountered another tragedy.
During her recovery, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer but has since been cancer-free after surgery.
Two and a half years had since passed so it was time to remove her mask.
Dana bravely decided to remove her mask on a television show and appear on a runway with her new face.
She had stated that she was proud of herself and her body on television.
She had also stated that anyone who watched this would look beyond her current looks.
After removing her mask, she walked on a runaway in front of a live audience.
She had received applause for her both her courage and full recovery.
Dana went through ordeals and ultimately came out on top, what an inspiration!
Her family and friends are definitely very proud of her personal achievements.
