According to German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, the Leopard main battle tanks that Germany and Portugal committed to send to Ukraine will get there by the end of March, according to Spiegel.
During a gathering of EU defense ministers in Sweden, Pistorius remarked, “I can tell you that I just discovered that 18 German Leopard 2A6 tanks and three Portuguese tanks could arrive in Ukraine this month.
By then, the tank crews from Ukraine will have finished their training and be prepared to command the tanks.
Poland will send 10 Leopard tanks to Ukraine this week.
