The custody agreement between Jeremy Allen White and his estranged wife Addison Timlin has been filed.
White and Timlin, both 32 years old, have consented to joint custody of their two daughters, Ezer Billie, 4, and Dolores Wild, 2, as long as White uses a Soberlink device to ensure that he is sober every time he sees his children.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, when he has custody of his daughters, the Bear actor is required to take the test twice. On Saturdays when he is with his children, he is required to take three tests. Sundays, only once, according to the filing.
Additionally, he must attend at least one individual therapy session per week and two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week.
According to the device’s website, Soberlink is a “professional-grade breathalyzer system with facial recognition that sends results automatically in real-time to designated individuals.”
White’s representative did not respond promptly to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Timlin filed for divorce in May, after having been married for over three years. Shortly after the couple proclaimed their separation, the Californication actress opened up about raising her children as a “single mom” and the difficulties she has faced since their breakup.
“Being a single mother is not what I imagined,” she captioned a series of photographs of her children. “It is so f—ing difficult. It is all out covered in s—, weeping on the floor, and kicking you in the shins while yelling with no sound. This is contrary to the natural order of things.”
Timlin observed that life as a single parent could be “exhausting” and “lonely,” especially “when something magical happens and you have to tell yourself ‘don’t forget this’ because theres no witness by your side,” she continued. “It’s so painful.”
