Within the past week, Dallas Police have taken an employee into custody.
The Senior Police Report Representative Larry Solomon was taken into custody by officers on Friday for the offense of family violence, as stated in an announcement that was posted on the blog of the department.
At the time of the arrest, Solomon was unemployed and not on duty.
Since the month of April in 2016, Solomon has been working for the department, and he is currently assigned to the Research and Development Division.
According to the Department of Public Safety, he is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of an administrative investigation related to Internal Affairs.
