A snapshot that Harry Styles posted to Instagram Stories on Sunday night (March 5) was quickly removed, but it will always be accessible online.
One Direction T-shirt, possibly from the band’s 2012 Up All Night Tour, was seen on the pop icon in a mirror selfie that went viral on Twitter on Sunday when she was casually heading to the gym. Fan accounts and pop news accounts, like the one below run by @PopBase, were quick to screenshot the treasured image.
The top trend on Twitter for the majority of the evening was “HE DELETED IT,” while other trends like “HARRYS” and “THE SHIRT” intermittently appeared on the list. Other admirers speculated that perhaps he only intended to publish the picture on a private account with his buddies.
Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson of One Direction took a break from performing in 2015. In a recent interview with The Times, Styles’ former bandmate Tomlinson discussed the possibility of a future reunion and said, “Getting back together at some time is impossible to envision right now. But I’d be shocked if we went through life without experiencing some sort of reunion, or whatever you want to call it. I’m game for it. Although I do miss the boys and being one of the five, I really enjoy being independent. Time had come.
