Inmates Discover That Man Crushed Baby’s Skull And Laughed About It, Takes Matters Into Own Hands

Within the confines of prison walls, where justice takes on a different form, two inmates found themselves entangled in fates that would ultimately be shaped by violence and retribution.

Daniel Wilson, a convicted child murderer serving a life sentence at the Potosi Correctional Center in Potosi, Missouri, experienced the cruel hand of karma when he was beaten to death by his cellmate, Brandon Kulhanek.

Wilson’s dark history included the savage beating of his 7-month-old son, a horrifying act that resulted in the infant’s fractured skull and severe brain injuries. His heinous crime had earned him a life sentence for second-degree murder.

However, Wilson’s life would come to a brutal and violent end within the prison walls. A probable cause statement revealed that a fight had erupted between the two inmates within their shared cell. Tragically, Wilson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at Washington County Hospital.

The cause of his demise was a crushed larynx, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Brandon Kulhanek, now facing first-degree murder charges, had become an instrument of vengeance within the correctional facility.

In a disturbingly similar incident, another inmate met a gruesome end at the hands of a fellow prisoner in Lebanon, Ohio. Luther Wade fell victim to the brutality of Casey Pigge, who used a cinder block he had forcibly removed from the cell wall as his weapon of choice.

Pigge, displaying a level of ingenuity akin to that of a character from “Shawshank Redemption,” carved mortar from his cell wall, extracted the cinder block, and unleashed a fatal assault on Wade, striking him multiple times in the head.

Prosecutor David Forshnell, drawing parallels to the iconic film, remarked, “Pigge is accused of carving mortar out of his cell wall, like something out of ‘Shawshank,’ extracting a cinder block from the wall and using the cinder block to strike Wade multiple times in the head, ultimately causing Wade’s death.”

The gruesome act resulted in Pigge’s indictment for aggravated murder and possession of a deadly weapon while under detention. Shockingly, Pigge, at the age of 28, was already serving a 30-year prison sentence for similar charges.

These incidents serve as stark reminders of the grim realities that can unfold behind prison bars. While the justice system takes on a different form within these confines, the notion of retribution and the relentless pursuit of justice persist.

The tragic fates of these two inmates, one a child murderer and the other a brutal assailant, underscore the profound and often unpredictable consequences that await those who have committed heinous acts.
