The 32-year-old Bear sensation is the newest underwear model for Calvin Klein. The advertisement, captured by photographer Mert Alas, showcases the indigenous New Yorker atop a structure while donning black and white undergarments.
As part of its spring 2024 advertising campaign, the advertisements comprise a succession of stills and videos. An example from the latter is the wavy-haired actor emerging from the building, undressed, and performing a series of pull-ups to the tune of “You Don’t Own Me” performed by Lesley Gore. The tattooed celebrity, channeling his inner Adonis as he strikes several poses in front of the cityscape, precisely landes on an orange sofa as pigeons are released.
That is not a fantasy, in fact. White stated in an interview with GQ that he has long admired the brand’s advertising campaign due to the fact that “they always get really interesting people” to model. However, he was taken aback by the fact that he received the phone call. “I did not necessarily foresee this in my future.” Who considers themselves an adult when they say, “I might even appear in a Calvin Klein campaign!”
