A month ago, an image of Kevin Costner and Jewel cuddling in the British Virgin Islands ignited dating rumors. The 68-year-old Yellowstone actor attended the tennis fundraiser hosted by the Jewel’s Inspiring Children Foundation on Necker Island, which was owned by Richard Branson. An image of the 49-year-old singer seated on Costner’s knee was obtained by TMZ.
One source tells Yahoo Entertainment, “It’s very new,” adding that the couple has “mutual” interest in one another and is in the “early stages” of communication.
“They thoroughly enjoyed their time together,” the insider continues. Yahoo was not contacted by representatives for the duo regarding dating rumors; furthermore, neither star has commented on the matter. In November, however, Jewel mentioned Coster in reference to her foundation.
An extensive stay of over a week was documented by Costner and Jewel during their joint trip to the Caribbean, as reported by TMZ on Friday. “Certainly, something was occurring.” “They were flirtatious, and it seemed as though they both lit up when they were together,” a source asserted. “You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on.”
A new report published on Monday suggests that Branson allegedly facilitated the meeting by extending invitations to both individuals to the island. Costner has been associated with this woman for the first time since his contentious divorce from Christine Costner (née Baumgartner) was finalized. In 2014, Jewel separated from her ex-husband, the professional rodeo equestrian Ty Murray.
