Jodie Turner-Smith Holds the Hands of a Friend Amid the New Romance Between Lupita Nyong’o and Ex-Joshua Jackson

On Friday while out and about in Los Angeles, the Queen & Slim actress, 37, was observed holding hands with friend and photographer Nancy Gomez.

In addition to Gomez, who walked a dog while wearing a floral top and denim trousers, and Turner-Smith, who wore a sheer green cropped sweater, a gold necklace, and light denim pants, the star’s brother Richard Smith maintained a stylish ensemble in a white puffer vest and black shorts.

Turner-Smith’s promenade occurred in close proximity to the location where her ex-boyfriend Joshua Jackson was spotted earlier this week clasping hands with Lupita Nyong’o in Joshua Tree, California.

The pair were seen walking hand in hand while both were dressed in comfortable clothing, with Nyong’o wearing yellow sweatpants and a white and green striped long-sleeve shirt that read, “It’s Okay to Cry.”

Conversely, Jackson, 45, was observed donning a pair of black sweatpants, a white crewneck, and a gray headwear.

Both excursions occurred more than two months subsequent to Turner-Smith’s divorce petition from the Dawson’s Creek alum in October.

At the time, Turner-Smith cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation. Subsequently, a source informed PEOPLE that Turner-Smith “decided she is finished.”

“Their lives are traversed in vastly different ways,” stated the source. “It evolved into an unhealthy union that brought her misery.”

Since her filing, Turner-Smith has been spotted out and about with her daughter at a local farmer’s market and even went solo to celebrate Halloween at the annual Casamigos Halloween party in late October.

Jackson and Turner-Smith have mutually consented to joint legal and physical custody of their three-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson.
