Londoners are now wearing flip-flops in place of boots

I’ve developed rather consistent preferences when it comes to shoes. When the weather warms up, I switch from the black, block-heel boots I wear all winter to the traditional horesebit loafers. Then, during the summer, I wear slip-on slider sandals until September, when it’s time to break out the loafers.
