Dan, a hired contractor, discovers a room full of aggressive snakes while cleaning an abandoned building. He realizes they are guarding something and becomes uneasy. Dan is bitten when he tries to retrieve the object, causing intense pain and forcing him to call for help.
However, he hesitates due to fear and the unknown circumstances surrounding his employment. The situation escalates when Dan is forcibly taken by mysterious men who interrogate him about the item. Dan is eventually rescued by a special forces team, but not before being taken to an unfamiliar and dangerous location. The men question Dan about the object and his involvement in the situation, and Dan assures them he did not reveal any information. The team, initially skeptical of Dan’s story, is shocked to find evidence of his snake bites and a burned-out car at his house. They bring Dan home, and he guides them to the location of the room filled with snakes. The police and additional forces face unexpected difficulties in clearing the room and discuss the possibility of burning down the building. Dan is advised to wait for an update the next day, but instead receives a call from the major with crucial information.
Dan is summoned to the Major’s office, unsure of what the outcome will be. He brings his family with him, and the Major assures him that the entire organization has been arrested, making Dan feel safer. The police captain enters the room, bearing a medal to honor Dan’s bravery. The captain reveals that Dan’s discovery of the room full of snakes had led to the arrest of the criminals. The major and captain explain that it took them five hours to clear the entire room, and when they discovered why the snakes were there and why there were so many, they realized that the snakes were protecting their own eggs. These eggs were extremely expensive and fragile, explaining why the criminals had hired a specialist to retrieve them. Dan sighs in relief, happy that the ordeal is over.
