Mark Wahlberg works diligently, as evidenced by his alarm device. The actor, who previously awoke at 2:30 a.m. and more recently has added an hour of snooze time to wake up at approximately 3:30 a.m., says that this schedule enables him to prioritize fitness and leave the rest of the day to deal with “too many other things” he has going on.
The actor acknowledges that his early rising time is not for everyone, but he does not comprehend the reactions of others to his personal preference.
“When I discussed my schedule at the time, it was inflated out of proportion, and people didn’t know how to interpret it…. People believed I was taking a one-and-a-half-hour shower,” he says, referring to the daily regimen he posted on Instagram in 2018. “But it’s just a matter of waking up early, having my devotional time, meditating, working out, reading, and doing everything I need to do before waking the children for school. It worked perfectly for me.”
Additionally, bedtime is a priority for Wahlberg. “I want to get to bed as early as possible to get my eight hours of sleep.”
According to extensive research, the early morning may actually be the ideal time to exercise for a variety of reasons. However, Wahlberg’s fitness objectives are typically driven by his work.
“I always experience tremendous pressure when someone takes a chance on me and says, ‘OK, I want you to star in this film. “You are expected to appear in this manner,” he explains. “Regardless of whether it’s gaining weight or losing weight, I must deliver. I must be prepared and contribute something to the table, and I take this responsibility very seriously.”
Currently, he is preparing to portray fitness icon Jack LaLanne, which necessitates regular exercises at F45 (where he serves as chief brand officer). At 52 years old, he’s more mindful to not overdo it — “I had injuries, gut issues from pushing too hard,” he says — but he’ll never take an easy way out.
