Winter’s season of “Love Island” has come to a close for another year, and while it offered us drama, love, and a fresh group of Islanders to grow infatuated with, it also represented the first series that Maya Jama, who succeeded Laura Whitmore as host after the 2022 season finished, had presented. Also, during her first season as the show’s producer, she gave us a number of ensembles that had us oohing, ahhing, and frantically Searching where to find them.
As the program began on January 16 in South Africa, Jama arrived (by helicopter, might we add) to assist the Islanders in creating their first pairings. Don’t forget finding your perfect partner is never that simple, believe me, she murmured as she walked away.To make her debut, the TV star wowed in three show-stopping outfits that blew us away, styled by Rhea Francois.
Fans even took to Twitter to joke whether Jama could win the series this year. Since the opening episode, we’ve seen Jama stun viewers for both the main show and the “Aftersun” spinoff wearing a mix of metallic corsets, cutout dresses, and incredible co-ords.
