The bodies of two teenagers, ages 15 and 16, were discovered inside the vehicle, according to the Dallas police

The gunshot deaths of two adolescents that occurred over the weekend are being investigated by the Dallas Police Department.

Off of Mountain Creek Parkway, in the southwest part of the city, the incident took place on Saturday, just before 5:30 o’clock in the evening.

According to the Dallas Police Department, two individuals, ages 15 and 16, were shot inside of a vehicle.

The 16-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the 15-year-old, who was later identified as Angel Solis, passed away at the scene of the accident.

On Monday, there was still blood on the ground and crime scene tape could be seen wrapped around a library and around the building.

There has been no information made public by the police regarding a suspect or a possible motive.

FOX 4 met with members of the family of one of the victims, who requested that their privacy be respected.
