After considerable waiting, the trailer for Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, which appears to be Harrison Ford’s final portrayal of the famed character, has finally been released. The 80-year-old Harrison Ford will don the cap and whip for the last film, which will be released this summer.
On June 29th, Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny will be released.
Together with Mads Mikkelsen, who plays the heavy in the next film, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook, John Rhys-Davies, Thomas Kretschmann, and Harrison Ford are also present.
In the movie’s trailer, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays Indy’s goddaughter and works as an investigator, gives a hint as to what they would be looking for: “Dad told me you spotted something on a…”
Mr. Jones is seen jumping from a variety of moving objects, including cars, trucks, airplanes, and even the well-known tuk-tuks, as is to be expected from the action-adventure series.
James Mangold, who has directed Copland, Girl, Interrupted, the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma, The Wolverine, and Logan, is the director of Indiana Jones’ fifth film. Indy Jones first came to life in Steven Spielberg’s Raiders of the Lost Ark, which was followed by Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which starred Sean Connery as Indy’s father, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, in which Harrison Ford finally donned his fedora once more after 20 years.
