The search for burglars who pose as tree trimmers is reaching out to victims all around the state of Texas

A man who knocks on the door claims to be a laborer who is trimming the trees of the neighbor. The event that occurred to Keli Rabon in Houston took place one week prior to the one that took place to the Barr family in North Dallas.

‘Take a look,’ he urged. In order to assist us in determining the precise dimensions, we require the assistance of a drone; thus, if we could simply stand here and gaze up, Rabon recalls.

Rabon discovered that her front door had been slammed shut a few minutes later, while she was still waiting with the man for a drone to show up.

“And he does nothing but look up. “His eyes expand, and he uttered the words, ‘Gotta go,’ and then he dashed out of the house,” she explained.

A check was made by Rabon on her doorbell camera.

“I see a guy walking out like with almost a Santa sack of my gray and black blanket that I keep on my bed with something bulky inside it,” Rabon recalled. “My heart dropped immediately.” Rabon’s blanket is gray and black.

Both her closet and her cabinets had been rummaged through. Her safe had been stolen.

“It appeared as though another person had just swiped across the countertop of my closet,” I said.

She had previously worked as an investigative reporter, and she started posting on social media right away.

“I actually started learning of other victims and other almost victims within twenty-four hours of me posting,” she added. “It was a terrible experience.”

You can really witness one man distracting a woman using a video that was caught by a victim in College Station. At the same time, a second man wearing gloves approaches up to the woman. In the same manner as the burglaries that took place in Houston and Dallas, he sneaks via an unlocked back door by glancing back into the room.

People like Rabon and others are now discussing what happened to them in the hopes of identifying and apprehending those responsible.

According to Rabon, “I’m like a dog with a bone,” and he continued, “I don’t give up.”
