Some of the movies coming to Prime Video in March include Amazon originals including Daisy Jones & the Six, Reggie, and The Power, starring Toni Collette, John Leguizamo, and Toheeb Jimoh.
This month, the streamer will also add blockbusters like Top Gun: Maverick, Creed and Creed II, Nope and Jackass Forever, as well as Pulp Fiction, American Gangster, The Expendables 2 and 3, and all of the Rocky flicks.
Adapted from Taylor Jenkins Reid’s book of the same name, Daisy Jones & the Six tells the story of the emergence and fall of a well-known 1970s rock band led by Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin). The band members open out on how their group dissolved at the end of their career decades later.
Reggie Jackson, a revered baseball legend and one of sports’ most prominent megastars, is the subject of the documentary Reggie, which chronicles his life as he “contemplates his legacy as a trailblazing Black athlete striving for dignity, respect, and a place at the table,” according to the logline.
Another title based on a book is coming to Prime Video with The Power. The universe depicted in the television adaption of Naomi Alderman’s best-selling novel of the same name takes place, according to the streamer, in a time when young girls mysteriously acquire the ability to electrocute anyone at command.
