Will Ferrell kicked off the festivities at the University of Southern California by DJing at a frat party, a scenario reminiscent of his 2003 film Old School.
Ferrell was captured on TikTok video inciting the crowd to dance to Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “N—-s in Paris” and Survivor’s immoral “Eye of the Tiger.”

The Barbie actor was the DJ at a Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity tailgate celebration prior to the Trojan Family Weekend football game against the University of Arizona Wildcats.
Magnus, Ferrell’s oldest child, is a sophomore at USC. Unlike in Old School, Ferrell was not at USC to recapture former grandeur. Ferrell himself received a bachelor’s degree in sports information from USC in 1990.
In 2017, he returned to his alma mater to deliver the commencement address. The following year, he and his wife Viveca Paulin funded the first-ever full scholarship for the women’s soccer team.
