Woman steals Porsche, runs over owner after responding to Mississauga Auto Trader ad

Authorities in Mississauga are searching for a woman involved in the theft of a 2022 Porsche Cayenne after responding to an Auto Trader ad. The incident, which occurred during what was supposed to be a routine vehicle sale, took a dangerous turn, leaving the seller with serious injuries.

The theft unfolded when the woman, posing as a potential buyer, convinced the seller to get out of the car to inspect the hood. As the seller stepped out, the woman seized the opportunity, reversing the vehicle. In the process, the victim was knocked to the ground and run over by the stolen car. Although the injuries were serious, they are not considered life-threatening.

Police believe the woman did not act alone. Two other suspects, one in a gray SUV and another in a blue SUV, are thought to have been involved. Investigators are actively searching for the stolen Porsche Cayenne, which remains at large.

Authorities are urging the public to be cautious when conducting online sales, particularly for high-value items like vehicles. They recommend using designated buy-and-sell exchange zones at local police stations for added safety.

The suspect is wanted on charges of auto theft and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm. Police are appealing for any information that may help in locating the suspects or the stolen vehicle.
