Dallas Cowboys’ future appears bleak following yet another postseason failure

As the No. 1 seed in the NFC, Jerry Jones has witnessed his Dallas Cowboys lose their playoff opener twice.

Dallas lost a divisional playoff game to the Packers following a Dez Bryant catch that failed to land in Green Bay, despite the fact that the catch appeared to be adequate for a deep run. The club’s owner and general manager endured the call.

However, it is difficult to conceive of a more distressing postseason setback than the Cowboys’ 48-32 wild-card loss to Green Bay on Sunday. This loss occurred exactly 28 years after the team last advanced to the NFC championship game.

Jones stated, “I have no desire to assign a ranking to it,” while standing outside a despondent Dallas locker room. “But I will tell you this was beyond my comprehension.”
