Without Keira Knightley, it’s difficult to envision the 2000s. The British actor first appeared on screen in the early 1990s, but after appearing in several well-known movies in the early 2000s, such as “Bend It Like Beckham,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” and the cherished holiday rom-com “Love Actually,a” she quickly became well-known.
After achieving popularity in the mainstream, Knightley transitioned into dramatic roles, most notably that of Elizabeth Bennet in the 2005 adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice” and of Cecilia Tallis in “Atonement,” both of which led to Golden Globe nominations for Knightley. She most recently appeared in the true-crime drama “Boston Strangler,” which debuted on Disney+ on March 17, continuing the actor’s successful career into the 2010s and 2020s.
But Knightley also has a personal life that she keeps quiet when she’s not working on new projects. Before finding her current partner, musician James Righton, in 2011, the “Imitation Game” star dated a few well-known actors throughout the years, including Jamie Dornan and Rupert Friend. Righton and Knightley had two kids together, Edie and Delilah, after getting married in 2013.
