On March 3, “Daisy Jones & The Six” will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The focus of the program, which is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s book of the same name, is the fictional rock band’s ascent to fame in the 1970s. Daisy Jones (Riley Keough), a character in the show, meets Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin) and joins his band, The Six. They collaborate to create the smash album “Aurora” before the group disbands.
Billy is one of The Six’s lead guitarists, along with keyboardist Karen Sirko (Suki Waterhouse), bassist Eddie Roundtree (Josh Whitehouse), drummer Warren Rojas, and singer Suki Waterhouse (Sebastian Chacon).
Daisy Jones & The Six may not be a real band, but the actors in the show actually took lessons to improve their vocal and instrumental abilities.Because of the pandemic, the cast was able to receive extensive music training before filming their performances as a band, the series’ showrunner Scott Neustadter told EW. “If we had left when we were supposed to, I’m not sure what we would have done.
It would have appeared very differently. If only there had been a little more movie magic, “said Neustadter. But in this specific instance, everyone was actually acting in this manner.
