Dua Lipa has developed a reputation for wearing provocative outfits, and her most recent front-row stint at Milan Fashion Week did not disappoint. On February 24, the singer of “Potion” came at the GCDS autumn/winter ’23 show wearing black underwear that was clearly visible through her black lace costume. After the event, Lipa joined Giuliano Calza for photos, showing her support for one of her closest friends and the founder and creative director of the Italian brand. She looked every bit the supermodel herself.
Our eye was drawn to the high-neck, incredibly translucent, black lace jumpsuit with integrated gloves, but all the details were flawless as well. We couldn’t help but draw parallels between her and Morticia Addams, the grandmother of Netflix’s “Wednesday,” when her black bra and underwear were on display. Lipa’s long, straight hair was parted in the middle, and her smokey eyes and matte lips looked as though they had been taken directly out of the Addams Family cosmetic kit and given a contemporary makeover. Although Lipa did add a splash of color with vampish red nails and a red patent heart-shaped bag, the outfit was finished off with black platform shoes.
After sitting front row at the highly anticipated Prada show, where she modeled another current trend—the trouser-less trend—Lipa attended her friend’s show a few hours later. She wore a printed shirt, an oversized black blazer, sheer black tights, and loafers. The Albanian national looked great. Indeed, the pants were absent. She goes bottomless, joining Maya Hawke and Kylie Jenner in doing so.
