Even though the Oscars on Sunday night featured some of the season’s most jaw-dropping outfits, the trend continued after the ceremony. Stars flocked to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party and other after-hours gatherings to flaunt a variety of additional outfits before the evening came to an end.
Even though she wasn’t at the event, Kylie Jenner managed to make two different statements throughout the evening. The 25-year-old beauty mogul appeared at the Vanity Fair step-and-repeat first dressed in a cute yet sassy strapless dress created especially for Maison Margiela by John Galliano. She was styled by Alexandra Rose and Mackenzie Grandquist.
The outfit, which had a train that dropped from the middle of her back and an oversize bow at the breast, was very much in keeping with her edgy-yet-monochrome design given its gunmetal hue. Her ears were covered in Lorraine Schwartz diamonds, including enormous pear-shaped studs on each lobe. Her makeup was pretty natural, and she had her hair in an old-Hollywood updo.
Jenner later shared a second costume on Instagram, a form-fitting nude dress from LaQuan Smith with sheer paneling and black stripes, because one look for the evening is never enough. The midi silhouette, which gracefully dipped over the shoulders, gave off harlequin vibes. She kept the same hair and makeup as when she initially appeared on the blue carpet earlier in the night. While Jenner recently finished her run at Paris Fashion Week, she took a break in between to begin defining her casual summer wardrobe through recently launched commercials, appearing in both a black thongkini and a sheer mesh tunic for her skincare line, Kylie Skin.
