Rihanna will attend the Oscars! Her son, whose name the “Umbrella” singer and her partner A$AP Rocky have not yet shared, is not, though. The Grammy-winning artist posted two fresh images and a video of her little child “reacting” to the information that he won’t be accompanying her to the Oscars on Instagram on March 5.
Actually, Rihanna’s child, who arrived in May 2022, is too little to be concerned about his mother’s planned performance of the Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” on March 12. Any opportunity to share adorable newborn pictures should be seized, though. The infant in the first image is pouting and gazing up from his crib.
Rihanna captioned the carousel with, “My son when he found out his sibling is going to the Oscars and not him. Just so happens that her son’s younger brother has the benefit of not having been born yet. Fans were shocked when the “Lift Me Up” singer revealed she is expecting her second child on February 12 during her 2023 Super Bowl halftime performance.
Later this year, but as she did with her first child, Rihanna is probably going to keep her second child out of the public eye. In December 2022, she posted a video of her son to prevent the paparazzi from posting his images first. She disclosed to British Vogue in a February interview that she felt protective of her children and their privacy.
