Common courtesy and manners have lost ground these days. Sometimes, you can stand in the checkout line at the store and the cashier never even looks at you. Makes you really feel welcome -right?
A coffee shop owner, Austin Simms, in Roanoke, Virginia got tired of how rude some of the customers were, and he changed his prices!
The CUPS Coffee & Tea shop now charges $5.00 for a small coffee to someone that has no manners, if you add the word “Please” to your order, you only pay $3.00 for that same cup.
If you add the word “Hello,” you pay a mere $1.75.
So, the bottom line here is that the nicer you are, the less money your coffee costs you!
