At Art Basel in Miami Beach, Automobili Lamborghini debuts the new Huracán Sterrato, the first super sports car created for maximum driving enjoyment even on loose or dirt surfaces. This vehicle redefines the very idea of sportiness and emphasizes the brand’s core values of bravery, authenticity, and the unexpected.
According to Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, “True to our principles as a visionary, bold and unorthodox brand, we are breaking new ground in driving sensations with the Sterrato.“Presenting the car at Art Basel in Miami reflects how, just like an avant-garde work of art, the Sterrato represents a radical and original interpretation of the super sports car concept but, in terms of performance, the Sterrato belongs in the world’s most dynamic and exciting driving environments.”
The driving characteristics of the Huracán Sterrato have been perfected for flawless control on any surface, including paved and unpaved roads. The Sterrato has a revised LDVI (Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics) system compared to the Huracán EVO, which includes particular STRADA and SPORT calibrations and introduces the RALLY mode for low-grip circumstances to the Huracán series for the first time.
“With the high-speed all-terrain concept of the Sterrato, we have uniquely combined the driving experience of a true super sports car and the fun of driving a rally car,” explained Rouven Mohr, Lamborghini Chief Technical Officer. “Lamborghini cars always deliver emotion: the Sterrato delivers a new degree of driving thrills.”
